Dinner at Golden Coral

My husband and i just returned from Golden Coral and i've notice that the price has gone up for medical discounts for gastric bypass and lapband patients the new price is 7.99 as my husband paid 9.89 for full menu price it is cheaper for us to buy the take out for 4.59 a pound, tomorrow i'm going to call main head Quarters to complain this is unfair to us all, i just wanted to let you all know about the price change.. thank you

oh, yeah, Mary, Golden Corral does offer WLS discount, but I'm not sure if the GC in Elizabeth City does. I live in Hertford and I wont be at that stage for some time yet (my surgery date is not until February 9th), but I might have to check it out if they do offer the discount. I think it would be fun to go there and eat just a little bit of food ha ha. (Because I've never done that!)

II went to lunch at Golden Coral and was also told of the increase of the Bariatric Discount. I can't understand why such a large increase. I for one am going to skip going to eat there.
How is everyone feeling in the New Year? I came down with a cold while visiting my son, grandson and daughter-in law in Rocky Mount, NC. I have rediscovered the lovely feel of Vicks!

wow, someone who lives in hertford!! and you have your surgery coming right up! we'll have to meet sometime. i live in the beech springs road area, how about you? do you work? if you have any questions you can call at 252 562 3073. i'm home during the day with my mother in law, who doesn't know i've had the surgery, but it would be fun to visit. maybe we could visit up at the country kettle or something. people up in tidewater think that hertford is like on the other side of the moon!

I did not know about the price change wow I use to like to go to Golden Coral.. And yes the one in Elizabeth City does give you the discount.. I live in Camden and work in EC. nice to see others out here in no mans land..
